We keep the reporting desk open at all times so that nothing anyone runs into has to stay hidden.

Every report is taken up and checked, put right without delay where that is needed, and the reporter’s identity is protected to the end.
Before you report
- Cases are handled as soon as they are verified, and progress can be tracked by receipt number.
- An anonymous report may not receive a reply, and nothing that hints at the reporter is ever disclosed.
- Unfounded accusations and matters of private life are out of scope, and an enquiry unrelated to staff conduct may be closed without a reply, so please bear that in mind. Whether a case is in scope is explained at intake.
- Named reports are the norm, but an anonymous one is investigated where the account is specific; a report found to be knowingly false is acted on under the rules.
- Please use a current browser for the report form.
What to report
- Giving or taking gifts and entertainment.
- Undue favours to stakeholders or taking stakes in them.
- Private lending with stakeholders and undue pressure.
- Embezzlement, misuse of funds and damage to assets.
- Leaking customer or company information.
- Second jobs, harassment and other conduct-of-service matters.

Protecting the reporter
Who is protected
- Named reports submitted with verifiable grounds are the baseline for protection.
- Information about related parties is protected to the same level.
- Protection covers:
- the reporter’s identity
- the material the reporter submitted
How we protect
- Reports and reporter details are classified confidential and seen only by authorised staff; the intake system runs in a separate secure zone with access logging, and the staff who handle it are limited to people who have signed a confidentiality undertaking.
- Internal rules prohibit disclosing a reporter’s identity or attempting to identify one, and identifying details are handled separately throughout any investigation.
